1 Minute Drive: CAT – View siteĀ 
Right opposite the Bike Park. The Centre for Alternative Technology offers B&B or 18 bed eco-cabins ā€“ come with the gang! The buildings are all designed with eco methods and materials while stunning views and a great cafĆ© make this an easy choice.

 

3 Minutes Drive: The White Lion, Machynlleth – View site
In the heart of Machynlleth, a 3minute drive from the bike park, The White Lion is our go to pub, good pub grub with cheap rooms, sports, bands and kids toys, Large sunny walled garden and large car park, its everything you need after a day out!

 

8 Minutes Drive: Fronwen Lodge View site
A luxury self catering cottage sleeping 6 (3 bedrooms). Set within an enchanting pine forest above a crystal clear river overlooking the valley beyond, the Lodge is the perfect place to relax after a hard dayā€™s shred. With secure bike storage and a bike wash.

This 15th Century Coaching Inn is a beautiful mix of exposed beams, feature fireplaces and solid Oak furniture. The locally sourced seasonal produce and a fantastic range of ales and wines makes it the perfect reward after a hard dayā€™s riding. They even offer a specially made beer for dogs!

15 Minute Drive: Dyfi Adventure Campsite – View site
Run by avid mountain biker Rhys Butler who also hosts the Gravity Enduro Series on his land. Huge riverside fields with toilets and hot showers. The perfect spot for tents, vans and campers.

A relaxing guesthouse with a large garage for bikes. The fantastic pub/restaurant might well be the best food in the area.

An 18th Century farmhouse that has recently been converted into one of the finest small luxury bed and breakfast guest houses in Snowdonia. The house is situated in the heart of the stunning Tal-y-llyn valley and run by Lorraine, one of the founder members of Corris Friday night ride!

 

20 minute drive: Penrhos Arms – View siteĀ 
Rachelā€™s recommendation! The Penrhos is a cosy, family friendly pub on the outskirts of Machynlleth. Outstanding locally sourced and home cooked meals. Rooms with breakfast or 3 separate private cottages sleeping 5 -10.

 

20 minute drive :Cross Foxes Bar and Grill – View siteĀ 
Another local favourite, Cross Foxes provides delicious slap-up pub food with modern rooms and a good fire. North of the bike park en route to Dollgellau.

A small woodland campsite with bellā€“tent glamping, cosy shepherdā€™s hut and 10 ā€˜touringā€™ pitches – Nyth Robin is situated in the Aberdovey Estuary, perfect for families wanting a bit of beach action.

Located on the stunning Tal Y Llyn Lake at the base of Cadair Idris, the 2nd highest mountain in Wales. With hotel rooms and converted stables, Tan Y Cornel is a home away from home.

The original Dyfi XC / enduro trail, Ā the Climachx offers up some great flowing single track and one of the best Dyfi descents – the famous Section 8 (Tony The Tiger). This final descent is fast, rocky, and technical, giving over 5 minutes of buzz!

Cadair Idris
The 2nd highest mountain in Wales for breathtaking hikes and ocean views from the summit. Time your ascent for sunset and come down by torchlight, or stop halfway to enjoy the mountain lake or ā€˜llynā€ . You can even tackle Cadair on your mountain bike – be sure to descend the Pony Path to Abergynolwyn. Rocky, fast, and fun
